Document & Process Serving

Our aim is to provide our clients with professional and efficient service of their legal documents.

Often, a legal process cannot start until the opposing party has been served with legal documents.   We endeavour to have proceedings served within a 48 hour timeframe. For urgent service matters, we strive to have documentation served on the same day that documents are received.

Prompt email confirmation of service followed by reporting and invoicing completes our service for clients.

We are able to serve the following documents, but are not limited to:-

• Trespass Notices;
• Family Court proceedings including Parenting, Adoption, Child, Youth & Family matters, Dissolution of Marriage, Protection and Property matters;
• Civil & Commercial Matters including Notice of Claims, Statutory Demands, Bankruptcy, Property Law Notices;
• Debt collection;
• Service of private documents on individuals.

Once you email or post your documents to us, we arrange the rest for you.  
 
We personally serve documents in all suburbs in Auckland,  but also surrounding regions including Waiuku, Tuakau, Pokeno, Maramarua, Te Kauwhata, Rangiriri, Pukekawa, Mercer, Kaiaua, Clarks Beach, Awhitu, and the Hibiscus Coast.
 
If your documents need to be served on a person or a company outside of Auckland, we have a trusted network of agents throughout New Zealand and overseas. We charge a handling fee for instructing another service agent on your behalf as we will facilitate the communication and final reporting for you.

In some situations, you may not know the address for personal service for an individual.  If the Court grants you an order for substituted service, we can assist by serving the individual by email or via social media.

Our Standard Fee
Auckland Flat fee  (coverage areas Pukekohe to Albany)                               $130 + GST
A sworn Affidavit of Service (if required) is included within our fee.

Our Urgent Fee
Auckland Flat fee (same day service)                                                                          $160+ GST
A sworn Affidavit of Service (if required) is included within our fee.
Urgent collection of documents for service within the Papakura to Manukau area is available.  Outside of these areas will incur an additional cost.

 

• Mileage  (for rural areas or regions outside of Pukekohe - Albany ) is  1.17 cents/per km;
• We charge $15.00 to collect your service documents within the Papakura - Manukau region. 
• Our service fees covers 3 attempts to serve. Any additional attempts to serve incur $25 fee per attempt.
• If required, documents can be sworn/witnessed before a Notary Public and will attract an additional fee.
• Many of our clients now seek to email their service documents to us.  We charge photocopying costs of 25 cents per page.
